The location of the hotel was fantastic, with easy access to the town and walking trails nearby. The room had an amazing view, allowing us to wake up to the beautiful scenery of the Dales. The staff were very helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

The dorm room had a lingering smell of paint, which was quite unpleasant. there was a person snoring loudly all night, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

** Good breakfast variety & great cooked English breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful location with fabulous hill views. Large drying room, self-catering facilities, and common room area available. Easily accessible to pubs, restaurants, and Wensleydale cheese factory.

The self-catering facilities were helpful and the free tea and coffee was very much appreciated. the communal areas were sweet and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Our room felt cramped and the walls were so thin we could hear every word of the conversations in the next room. the shared toilets and washrooms had a bad smell and were quite unpleasant to use.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel in Yorkshire that exceeded my expectations. the value for money was incredible, with extremely affordable prices that didn't compromise on quality. Secondly, the attention to detail was commendable, particularly in the basic amenities provided. Despite not having en-suite facilities, the hotel ensured that the shower cubicles were clean and well-maintained, allowing guests to freshen up comfortably. Lastly, the individually served breakfast was a delightful touch, offering a variety of options to start the day on a high note.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic and I couldn't fault anything.

The views from the hostel were amazing and there were plenty of outdoor activities to do in the area. The communal spaces were nicely decorated and comfortable, perfect for a romantic escape. We also appreciated the kitchen facilities which were well-stocked for self-catering.

The hostel was showing its age with tired and worn out facilities that were in dire need of an upgrade. The staff weren't exactly warm and welcoming, which put a bit of a dampener on our romantic getaway.
